Roundshot Super 35
Roundshot Super camera is a new generation of Seitz rotational cameras. It offers a wide range of advanced features, such as interchangeable lenses from 13 to 300mm, vertical lens shift, sophisticated computer-based controller, multiple exposures, and a smart light-meter. Before taking the actual picture, the camera turns around and the light-meter scans the entire scene. The light-meter values are stored in the memory and then used by the camera to accelerate on bright places and to slow down in darker spots. The camera is controlled by two electronic stepper motors which allow a full rotation at speeds between .9s and 100 hours. The shutter speed can be varied between 1/250 and 256 seconds and the shooting angle ranges from 1 to 9999 degrees. The resulting image length depends on the focal length of lens.
The Super camera is actually a part of a very well designed complete system. It can operate in five modes: panorama, turntable, linear, moving, and stereo. The additional components include a synchronized turntable for taking pictures of small and medium round objects, a rail for taking long linear images (i.e. wall paintings). All functions are controlled by the control unit.

About Seitz Phototechnik AG
Seitz rotational panoramic cameras incorporate over 30 years of experience. During this time, the cameras have been continuously improved and have achieved worldwide standard.
The unique principle of Seitz Roundshot cameras introduces a new dimension in the conventional photography and computer imaging. During the exposure, the camera with its lens is rotated around its axis and the film is simultaneously rolled out from the spool. This allows to obtain shots not only of exactly 360 degrees, but of any length, including partial and multiple rotations (i.e. 100, 240 or even 1080 degrees).
All Seitz Roundshot cameras are meticulously produced to the highest standards. They are highly functional and extremely precise, yet they are very robust and reliable.
